National activities

The Netherlands has one official organization for bisexuals. In addition to that there are a number of other organizations have bisexuality as a secondary or equally important part of their purpose, besides one or more other purposes. The official organization is called Dutch Bi Network (or Vereniging Landelijk Netwerk Biseksualiteit in Dutch). At the moment, our home-page is available in Dutch only.

• Foundation De Kringen ('the Circles')
  This foundation organizes people who want to lead or be part of discussion groups. It is a national organization that provides information to point people to these groups. There are gay, lesbian and bi 'circles', some of them are for youngsters only. A 'circle' offers you a space to talk about what your interests are concerning your homosexuality or bisexuality. You get to meet new people in a pleasurable way, with whom you can build valuable friendships. The meetings, full of mutual recognition and cosyness, are organized on a monthly basis at someone's home.
  If you join a 'circle', you also receive the magazine, 'Keerkring'. There are several bi-specific 'circles' at the moment. Please call the national coordinator for further information.

Regional/Local Groups

There are several regionally or locally operating groups in the Netherlands. However, since there are many changes in these groups as to when they meet and who to contact about them, We'd like to direct you to the Dutch Bi Network homepage for further information. This prevents us from forgetting to update information in other places than our own homepage, and thus you are sure to find the most recent information.
