\n"; endif; ?> This ring was created in Spring 1997 to give bisexuals a way of linking their homes on the web together.

There are very few requirements that must be met to join the ring:

  1. You must be "bisexual". By this I mean you declare yourself as someone who is attracted to both sexes. It doesn't matter if you're in a same-sex relationship, a "het" relationship, multiple relationships, or no relationship at all. Just be bi. :)
  2. Your home page must state somewhere on it that you are bi.
  3. Your site is more than just a personal ad for sex ;-)
  4. Not a commercial pay-site. eg, erotica, personal ads, etc.
  5. Visitors must be able to view the bi ring code on a non-tables, non-frames, non-Java, non-Javascript, text-only browser! (This may mean you need 2 copies of the code - one for non-frames, and one for frames.)
  6. You have to put the code on your home page.

Tada! Tough, eh? that done and over with, use the following section to look at examples of code. Feel free to create a new logo and send it to me.

  1. Sample HTML code

Sites are 'staggered' based on the amount of traffic they appear to be getting. Larger (higher traffic) sites are placed after low-traffic sites (since they don't need the exposure) and low-traffic sites are placed after high-traffic ones (since they do). The ordering is updated every 7 days.

Sample HTML code

None of this code is active. You must replace the blanks with your id for this ring. ie, &id=___ is replaced with &id=999 or whatever your id for this ring is. You must also replace the mailto:you@your.org with your actual email address!

Please remember that the URL that you put for your 'homepage' in the web ring entry must be the page that contains the Bi Ring graphics + links. When I visit that URL, if I don't see the Bi Ring graphics then you won't be added to the list!

Please don't link directly to the graphics on bi.org - it will overload our server. Download the images onto your web server. Thanks.

Ring news - June 1998

The ring homepage has moved from http://bi.org/~ByTheBi/bi-ring.html to http://bi.org/bifolks, and is now under new management by the bi.org webmaster since the old ring owner, Lilith Eve no longer had the time to maintain the ring. Many thanks for all your hard work with the ring Lilith !

Ring news - November 1999

Halford has now taken over ring management from Nick, the webmaster of bi.org.

Ring news - October 2000

Halford seems to have disappeared off the face of the planet! Anyone know how to contact him? I'm in discussion with WebRing/Yahoo at the moment to take over running the list again. Nick, bi.org webmaster.
